Most of the time, I post about what Xavier and Sonora are doing, saying, and learning. Well, here are a couple of things I have learned recently.
I gave up sugar in my coffee for Lent. Effectively, that means I am not drinking coffee. Because I only like it with lots of sugar and creamer/soymilk. What it has taught me is:
1. Caffeine has a measurable and beneficial effect on my ability to function.
2. The sugar in my coffee is NOT what is preventing me from losing that last 10 pounds of baby fat.
Also, this morning I discovered that if I use a plastic kids spoon to stir my chocolate (soy) milk, no one will hear me making it and beg for their own chockit milk. :)
Part Jane Goodall, part Mary Poppins, part Miss Hannigan. Not a significant source of Martha Stewart.
