Shave and a haircut... ok, well, just a haircut.

And considerably more than 2 bits, but I digress...

I finally got Xman in to get his hair cut yesterday morning. He was extremely good, considering he spent about 30 minutes in the chair without getting too wiggly. Mostly he just scrunched his eyes closed. And occasionally he would open his eyes, and ask, "Is she done yet?"

Then, about an hour after we got home, he looked in the mirror, pulled his hair, and said, "I want my tangles back."

At bathtime, he soaked his hair, hoping to grow his "tangles" back out. Sorry, buddy!

Brrrrr!

I can't tell if he is really not cold or if it's wishful thinking.

Well, it's a start.

Sonora is taking an introductory karate class after school. The "assignments" have included using self-discipline and doing chores, "without being told." She made her bed and Xavi's this morning... And cleaned her room.

Baby, it's cold outside

It is 28 degrees outside this morning and Xavi can't decide which pair of shorts to wear. Moral of the story? Be careful what you wish for.
